Does anyone know what process Dr Ebbets goes through in the creation of his mixes? Is he altering the mixes from their original forms. or just cleaning them up? The main reason I ask is, if I possess the 3 volume 'Beatles US Singles Collection' with all mixes apparently made by Dr Ebbets, what am I actually hearing? Am I hearing the original Capitol single mixes cleaned up. or some new creation? Thanks to anyone who knows. |

I have quite a few 'ebbetts' discs, he always stated that they were original mixes taken from the best available source. |
