Were any of the Beatles albums issued with the older stronger (better) Emitex inners or were they all the thinner "rice paper" ones. Just wondering, will be putting some on ebay and wont describe them as Beatles Era if the are pre Beatles.

Actually swapped most of my rice paper ones ages ago as they were all to fragile.

Henry will be able to confirm but I think the first 3 had the plastic lined ones and then rices up to RS then white paper for Revolver.

Yep the rice paper inners arrive mid 64 so original PPM WTB and early copies of AHDN are correct with polylined Emitex inners.

However these Beatles polylined are the of the thinner type usually with the made in England text. There are much sturdier polylined examples with either made in england or made in Great Britian which are pre-Beatles circa 58-61

Hope that helps !

That's the ones, quality stuff, use them instead of the thinner ones. Pick them up in the charity shops for pennies, so looks like pre Beatles. They still sell though.

Yes most people will not worry about it.......

There's a market in Walthamstow that sell rubbish LP's 8 for a quid....but they can be worth it just for the inners !!
