Ray does this have polo rings around the spindle hole, usually one large one on the A side and a smaller one on the B side ??

No polo rings. Completely flat both sides. Side one mother 7, side two 6.

There are EMI pressings with knife edges without polo rings at this time, but they are usually only seen on EP's and Demos....but it doesn't explain the lack of stampers

From the photo my gut feeling is EMI as I don't know any other company who pressed centres looking like that.....its not a very satisfactory conclusion though.....
