Dear all

I have this single but with a solid centre.

Can someone guide me as to how I post an image of it on this board.

I have a scanner but just need an 'idiot's guide' as to the best way to include the image in my posting.

Regards to all

Hi L'pool561!

And welcome to this board.

As to uploading images:
1) Join Photobucket
2) Scan the items
3) Upload scans to Photobucket
4) Paste the links of the pictures in Photobucket in a post on this forum
and the images should be visible.

Looking forward to your scans!

Follow this (I've copied this from another answer I posted): you need to be registered in sites like Photobucket and Imageshack: you need to pay at some time using the 1st one while Imageshack is FREE and it's the one I'm using: to it's simple and clear!
Once you have uploaded your pictures, you go on share it and the select the direct link: then get into the forum where you'd like to post the picture , Add Reply and click on IMG (it's near @).

I hope this helps and let's see the scans! ;)

Not so, I've been using Photobucket for 6 years now and never had to pay a cent.

Great scan, could you also do us the B-side??

Sorry - I must remember to scan the b sides in future

Here you go - Solid Centre b side - Move Over Ms. L

I've also noticed that the legal wording says 'Original sound recording made by EMI Records Ltd' rather than just EMI Records Ltd - also notice that reference to 'An Apple Record' has been dropped.

Any explanations for this unusual pressing would e appreciated.

Thanks very much for the b-side scan.
These are late 1980s pressings, contracted by EMI to (probably) Virgin, which explains the large circles around the playhole.
Not easy to find!

Hmmmm... don't know that for sure. Check this 1983 Virgin single, it has exactly the same characteristics as this Stand By Me single:
