OK I know this is a Beatles forum but it is clear that the expertise of the members covers both Parlophone and Apple non Beatles records and it is stamper related.
I have a Cilla single, looks like a contract, with the following stampers.
At 9 O'clock
P
7A
K
T
C
The 7 is scratched rather than stamped
B side
K
T
1
8
with the 8 scratched

B at three o'clock A side, B side nothing at 3' o'clock, but looks more like an Oriole record rather than a Decca and the rim could be used to cut steel it is that sharp. My present theory is that the press was set up on a Sunday morning overtime shift and the guy was rat ar#@d from the night before, more scientific and knowledgeable reasons welcome.

Yes EMI contracted out all sorts of pressings, I've seen a Decca Cliff from 1968 and I have a PYE Eloise by Barry Ryan on EMI/MGM from the same year. Also seen a Decca Ray Charles on HMV from the very early sixties

Then there is the contracts for Those were the days..there must be loads more..

Not to mention the EMI contract pressings for CBS LP's in the mid sixties, several Bob Dylans exsist of these....I have one myself.

crikey how did you do that?.....

Forgot to take last record out and it had one of those plastic centres which had three small points, leading to three deep scratches as I took them out the scanner although this is not the worst that has happened to me.

So if I come across a Beatles 78 I'll just let it go then, and you never know, found an Indian Cliff 78 once, terrible condition, but 20p, gave it away to a real Cliff fan. Maybe there is the odd Indian 78 Beatles at the car boot sales. Only dreamning.

Oh, if you're going for Beatles 78's you've got a lot more to buy.
Also, you'll need to get every variation, too.

One of my buddies has a site devoted to the 78's around the world.
Here it is.

My page on Indian 78's shows label variations. Not sure it's 100% right, but it's very close.
It's here.

You COULD spend all your money on Beatles 78's alone.
