Hmm, interesting indeed. The only explanation I find is that Northern Songs took over the publishing rights from Apple Publishing when it folded.
I doubt that the Apple's are an error, had a glance at Popsike and found that all mono APCOR's had Apple Publishing, and the SAPCOR's were fifty-fifty,
this could mean that the stereo version was out before the mono.......

Live Peace In Toronto
Different font and layout, the first has Ono Music publishing the second has Apple Publishing on side 2.
Also note the missing1A) part of the matrix number and the full stop after the K in UK on side 1 of the second record.

Ha ha, I didn't notice, thanks!
I even investigated the labels for more mistakes before I posted them, not very thoroughly it seems...

That's a lot of mistakes for one label, btw does all the first pressings have these mistakes?

Has anybody noticed two different versions of the Venus and Mars sleeve?
On the rear where the publishing credits are, one has:

All Compositions ℗ 1975 McCartney Music Inc.
except Medicine Jar ©1975 J.M.Music Ltd
Administered by McCartney Music Inc.

The other has:
All Compositions
©1975 McCartney Music Ltd/ATV Music Ltd
except Medicine Jar ©1975 J.M.Music Ltd administered
McCartney Music Ltd, and Crossroads
©1966 ATV Music Ltd

℗ 1975 McCartney Music Inc.

I'd hazard a guess that the first one is the earliest, and that they forgot the credit for Crossroads but I'm not sure.

Mine has the Crossroads credit. I have a distinct memory of buying this pretty much the day it came out, so it could be the first version. It's also possible that the 'mistake' was rectified while the sleeves were being printed and therefore a mix were available on day-one. The version without Crossroads may therefore be the rarer.

Nowhere Man may probably be right....
Although my sleeve is without the credit, the matrix reads 3U/1U.....

The matrices on mine are 2U/1U with 'A Porky Prime Cut' scratched into the dead-wax on side1 and 'M Pecko' on side 2.

So it looks like there is a mix of covers with each of the matrix combinations.

It's a possibility that I, at some time, might have swapped the discs.
So it could be that the 2U matches the crossroads credit, and the 3U is paired with the no-crossroads credit, like the ones you have lads.
In any case it would, be nice to have a couple of more to verify this.
