it will have some value, its hard to say what though. Certainly more that it would have with its correct labels. I've several singles that have the same labels on both sides and a Rubber Soul, but its hard to give a value, its more for those who like that kind of thing. For sure they are very rare but tend not be be of massive interest as it's just a factory mix up... |

Thanks, I don't mean to sound like a newbie to Beatles collecting. I collected their records from 1977-90. I sold them for space and financial reasons. Back then we were happy with an original copy, any original!! Now people are far more aware of the label/pressing differences than ever before. Variations like this were always of interest. I was rather hoping that current knowledge might shed some light on its scarcity. AH |

Well its definately scarce thats for sure but its not like an " official rarity " more like a mix up, but even if yours was the only one ever made ( which I doubt although there won't be many I am sure ) as such its still wouldn't command a massive premium IMHO cos its a mix up. You may not ever see another for sale though....its nice to have ! |

Well it only cost £7, and only has slight surface noise in a couple of places, so I'm very happy with it! AH |

I think we decided that when it was repressed in 69 that EMI must have used up some SIUK disc 1 labels but not on disc 2. No-one has seen one at all - in captivity or in the wild. Though Id be happy to be corrected on that, so would Henry!! |
