Here's an EMI-rimmed copy.

Interestingly, when I bought my Blue Box (which i thought was quite soon after release), all but LTS and MMT were EMI-rimmed.

We seem to miss a SIUK label without the "want a know"error. Or do they only exist with the error?

Of the first labels, is it fair to assume that the TNR label comes after the other one?
I can't recall what typeset it is...

I thought SF was the one that's more tall than wide, this font looks somewhat square..

What we need to establish is the order these labels appeared.
Here is my shot:

So far we have five different labels
Inbetween here the different smaller variations in credits, vertical/horizontal spacing etc.

This looks like a reasonable assumption, but still it doesn't make sense why the Sold In UK variation still (or again) carried the title misprint....

No that's a puzzle and the only explanation I can come up with is when the change came, they took the first set they could find and reset them with the SIUK remark.

But as I asked earlier; does the SIUK labels exist with the correct title? Noone has posted pics yet....

I checked my box and here's what mine has:
Gramophone-rims for 8880, 8882, 8883, 8891, 8913, 8938, 8952, SMMT1.
EMI rims for 8920, 8924, 8931, 8946, 8948, SGE1.

In my box all but LTS and MMT are EMI rims.
Well, just like Bill's... righty  :P

Very peculiar those two different sets of rims in the box, I can't understand how they messed that up as the all should be EMI...

Pulled this from a different thread - Do you all think that this, along with the others already displayed are all the UK variations ever released.

Again I think the answer to the Rim question is probably one of stock...they must have still had Gramphone Rim stock from pre-73 for some of the titles, where they didn't they had to reprint with EMI rim txt

Well, that's the whole point of these threads and, indeed, this whole forum, if you ask me.
I don't doubt there's more (minor) variations, remember these guys were rather popular and a whole bunch of pressings were made. I for one, like Baard, would like to see proof of a SIUK copy with the correct DYWTKAS title.......

Me too - it's funny to think that the rarest item may actually turn out to be a label with the correct spelling - it makes me wonder if I have passed on one because I only had eyes for the "..Want A Know.." rarity

Anyway - let's keep this thread open and keep our eyes open!
