Who needs salvation when there's instant gratification? That is the mind-set of most people in this day and age. The occult is more prevelent in society, though most don't know the true dangers of these practices. It is more than just funny little boards and dolls; these harbor dangerous spirits. However, most people don't see the harm in this. These demons can given them what God never did: immortality, power, seduction. It seems that everyone has become Attracted to Sin.

Fucking cats were everywhere in this city. Joed sat in a booth, pile of used tissue on the table. He sipped on a glass of orange juice, praying a sneeze didn't send it all over the table-and himself. He hadn't touched the plate of waffles in front of him, so they sat, cold, in moistening in the old syrup. A cat walked into the bar, probably expecting a handout. It sat in the middle of the floor, meowed once, then was promptly chased out by a fat man in an apron weilding a broom. This was the only reason Joed came to this dump; no cats allowed. It didn't stop the dander from infesting the air, but gave him a chance to at least get a meal down. If he could afford it, that is. Whether there actually was no demon problem here, or if he couldn't find it, it didn't matter; Joed was broke. His last three dollars were going towards these waffles, and hopefully the manager would let him work off the rest in dishes...again.
