World Series; who what and where?

This year looks like a promising series. I mean most people thought it was going to be Mets and Yankees. (I just hoped that the Phillies would have made it)

Now we have the tigers but who will get in next?

It's game 5 tonight.

Mets VS. Cardinals

I think it will be the Mets. The pitching looks good and they finally had a day to rest. They should still have a little momentum from Sunday's game where they killed the Cards.

Then again, I thought the Bears were finally going to lose last night.

Mets let me down.

Now, I hope the Tigers win. They have Polanco who was the AL MVP. (a former Phillie)

First game is Saturday!!! Until then do this --> :zoro:

oh my gawd, i was screaming at the tv at the bottom of the 9th inning when the mets had bases loaded and beltran of all people comes up and doesn't swing at the last pitch! it was perfect!!! and they had multiple times where bases were loaded too!

but that was still an uber awesome game!!!!! especially that catch Endy Chavez made in the top of the 6th inning!!! he turned it into a freakin double play!!!!! Go Chavez!!!!!

but alas, they failed. *deep sigh* the mets have been my all-time fav team since i was very little. oh well.

i'm rooting for the cardinals cause i like em better than the tigers. and i'm more familiar with all the players. however i have a feeling detroit will win anyways. they've been unstopable so far.

speaking of which, do you knowwho won game 1 last night? i was spending the night at a friend's house and wasn't able to catch it.

and yatta!!! finally someone i can rant to about the world series!!! :D :D :D

Cardinals won last night 7-2 ;_; :don:

I was terribly angry at those Mets. They were ahead of the Phillies by like 12 games and they still didn't win the whole thing.

Can you believe that it was Beltran who struck out? I saw him come up and I was like this game is going into extra innings. Then he strikes out. I wanted to choke him.

Tigers tried hard but the Cards ended up having better pitching. They've been resting too long. We'll see how they really can play tonight.

Finally a fan of baseball!!! WOOT! :tokoro:

yatta! the cardinals won! *Beauty*

and yesh, i was very disappointed too. i can't believe they didn't hit very well. i mean, they have an excellent batting order. LoDuca, Beltran, Delgato, Wright, Green, Valentin, Chavez and Reyes. you'd think with that batting order that they would have scored a lot more. but everyone kept hitting fly balls that were easy to catch. <_<

but both the mets and the cardinals pitching during that game was phenominal. perez did an excellent job for the mets, as did Suppan for the cardinals. ya know? and i'm still freakin about that catch that chavez made. i just can't get over that. and he said later on that he felt like his glove was gonna fall off when he caught the ball too.

i'm gonna try and watch the game tonight. dad doean't want to cause the mets lost, but it's the friggin world series! of course i'm gonna watch it! any tru fan would. though i'm not saying people who don't aren't real fans. they're just sore losers. :P

and it's definately a "WOOT!" to find another MLB fan on here. :D earlier that week i told peoples that i was excited about thursday. they were like "why?" me: "game 7 of the NLCS!!!!!!" pause......... then: "what's the NLCS?" me: :ph43r: :o :ph43r:

It's worse out here. Girls have absolutely no interest in sports. "What is Baseball?" is a common reply out here. At least in Connecticut everyone was interested in the Yankees or the Red Sox.

The Mets had an amazingly scary batting line up. The only one that had a scarier one was the Yankees. (I bet Mets fans hate hearing that.) Seriously, I feared everytime the Philles had to play the Yankees. (I was glad that they didn't have to play after the traded Abreu and Lidle) It's too bad that Cory died right after he was traded. :(

The Tigers managed to win tonight!!! So it's 1-1 going into game 3.

My Dad and I always watch any game we can. He's mad that the Phillies are gone but he doesn't mind watching the Cardinals and the Tigers. I think it's because of Polanco. He really was mad when the Phillies traded him to the Tigers.

Those Phillies had Howard and Utley, but that was all they had. Still, Howard was amazing for a second year player. There's always next year to be one game out of the wild card and lose. They've done that for three years now.

Anyway LET'S GO TIGERS!!!

wow. people don't even know what baseball is??? :o  :o that has to be crime. how can you NOT know what baseball is??? it's only been around for who knows how many years! and- and- RAWR! i can't believe that. they must be punished!!! (jk)

but seriously though, that's- i've NEVER heard of that before. how can you live in the united states adn not know what baseball is? it IS america's favorite past time. or at least, it used to be. but now people are saying the NFL is america's fav past time. *sigh*

i feel bad cause i haven't watched either of the two games. bad satomi. *slaps self* but i will. i just want the cardinals to win cause i'm more familiar with them and even though they beat the mets, they played an awesome game.

Yeah, they live out in the middle of the desert. Maybe that's why.

Cardinals managed to win last night 0-5. Cardinals have 2 games and the Tigers have one. Can the Tigers upset the Cardinals at home?

Polanco the MVP has yet to hit anything. Could he be the next A-Rod?

Come on Tigers, Let's Win!!!

Or else you'll have to deal with him ---> :inu:

psh, *waves hand* i can deal with him easily. SIT!!! *inuyasha faceplants* BWA HA HA!!! *cough cough*

'newho.....

the game got rained out yesterday. i'm kinda glad cause i was extremely tired last night. and i have yet to watch any of the pat 3 games. eh heh. *sheepish grin* but i'm going to tonight. apparently game 3 wasn't that good.

i wonder if they're going to have to play 7 games. cause right now i'm seeing a pattern. cardinals win, tigers win, cardinals win......that's how it was with the mets and the cardinals too. and if it turns out that way, the cardinals will win. but with the tigers, you just can tell.

by the way, i LOVE the mizuki icon! i've just gotten into comic party. yatta! :Mizuki:

The weather is bad in St. Louis from what I understand. They might have to wait till tommorrow, and that doesn't look too good either.

I noticed that pattern too. We'll have to see because being at home has it's advantages.

I love that Mizuki starts cosplaying. BTW which season of Comic Party?

I love Kero's cuteness. :kero:

Well, last night's game was a huge mess. It looked like The tigers were going to win but then their pitcher made a mistake. Then their out fielder made one. I was yelling at Polanco when he didn't make that catch at first. (Even thought the throw was way above his head.)

How about the Detroit players sliding all over the field? I wonder if it had something to do with all the rain.

The games starts at 5:00 here, so I must admit that sometimes I miss the first few innings.

I watched both seasons. (some of season two) and from what I gather season one really is the best. It had somewhat of a point, and Taishi was a lot funnier. Mizuki was a lot meaner though. :Mizuki:

when...uhh...what's his name again...anyways, when the detroit tigers guy got the homerun in the beginning of the game or whatever, and the cardinal guy (i just can't remember names tonight XP) jumped up to catch it and missed, my reaction was "i bet they wish they had endy chavez right about now." XD

i went to bed at the beginning of the seventh with the tigers were leading 3-2. i was like "yatta! the cardinals won!"

i didn't watch tonight's game. cause i had waaaay too much going on here. so who won? i'm hoping hte tigers so that i can actually see the last game of the world series. but all the tvs were taken up and we had people over and by the time i was like "wonder if the game is on yet" it was like 11pm here. =(

yeah, i flipped through the manga of the first season and from what i read mizuki was bit of a biotch. okay, so she had a major attitude problem. but i like this anime party because it's so random and doesn't have a real point to it. normally though that would give me reason not to watch it, but i like this one.

Cardinals won. This season is all over. It was sooo sad. The Tigers tried their hardest and yet they still lost.

Well, this season is offically over. I did notice that Derek Jeter (Yankees) and Ryan Howard (Phillies) both recieved the Hank Aaron award. They both deserve it. They were the leaders of their respective teams.

It's football/basketball time!!!

Mizuki likes to hit people with bats, with nails on them. O_O

Derek Jeter may have deserved it, but i still hate him. ^-^

YATTA!!! the superbowl is in February!!! *Beauty* i'm excited. i love watching the superbowl. i don't really watch basketball. *shrugs* dunno why. i just don't.

mizuki is very violent indeed. although in the...first episode of the second season kazuki beats....um....the dude with green hair (forgot his name) with a bat w/ nails in it. haha.
