[dohtml]Scene opens up with rain beating down onto the ground. The camera is following a pair of feet that are protected from the rain by black high heel shoes. The feet are attached to a pair of long slender legs. The camer pans up and reveals the owner of the legs to be Gothic Angel. The camera then pans out, opening the scene up a bit. On one side of Angel is her father, Bencino Costello. Beside her father is her brother - Gino. On the other side of Angel is her brother Abe. Beside Abe is Angel's manager and Abe's wife; Genesis. As the camera pans out further it shows that nearly 100 people surround them in their time of sorrow. All of them are in black clothing as they stand in a grave yard listening to the preacher give his sermon.

Good afternoon and thank you for coming. We’ve come to share in the loss of Roma Niccollia Capulet Costello. We’ve come to weep, to feel, and to wonder in anguish.

We don’t come today with any glib answers. Let’s face it. This is tough stuff. We’re stunned. We’re hurting. We don’t understand.

It might be difficult to believe, but the Bible says that it’s actually good for us to be here today. In Ecclesiastes 7:2, God says this:

It is better to go to a house of mourning than to go to a house of feasting,
for death is the destiny of every person; the living should take this to heart.

In other words, God says that it’s better to go to a funeral than to a party. It’s better to be in a cemetery than at a football game. I think there are at least three reasons for this.

First, this is a time for us to celebrate the life that God gave to Roma. We’re sad but we also want to remember Roma’s uniqueness.

A lot of muffled cries are heard through out the crowd of family.

When I talked to some of you at the Visitation, I learned that she had a lot of great qualities...

· She loved her husband Bencino
· She loved her children - Ginosesious, Abraham and Angelica
· She loved the opera
· She loved to go Geneva's Deli for lunch and Salvtore's Ristorante for Dinner
· She loved getting flowers from her children.
· She loved dogs
Bencino said that she was a angel of mercy, kindness. That she was all he needed to get by.

The preacher sighs and then holds up one of his hands, gesturing with it as he talks.

I recall them coming to me when Abraham was going to be married. Roma was so happy.

And so, this is a time for us to remember. Second, it’s a time for us to say good-bye to Roma. As hard as it is, this service will help us begin the process of letting go.

And, third, it’s a time for us to take a look at our own lives. We are all going to die someday. It’s a great time to ask some tough questions. Questions like, “Am I ready to die?” and “Where will I go when my life is over?” When it comes right down to it, this service is more for us who are living than for the person who has died.

And so, we’re going to remember, we’re going to say good-bye, and we’re going to reflect on our own lives. Roma may have been taken from all of us in a violent way. He who has done this to her shall be dealt with when his time comes.

Now for those who wish to speak about Roma...

The preacher steps away from the podium as Bencino walks up, his hands trembling and a grief stricken look on his face. Bencino speaks with a strong italian accent.

Roma and I met 35 years ago in the very church we stand behind. She was so beautiful.

He glances at Angel, who has her eyes lcoked on the casket that is now into view. the casket itself it solid black with gold bars on it. The rain continues to beat down around them and the casket as Bencino continues.

Her beauty now lies in our daughter... Angelica. I know I loved Roma from the moment I saw her. She convinced me to open up a garage that Angelica now has. She never gave up on anything that any of us believed in...

The scene fades out on his talking and fades back in on Angel standing by the fresh grave. It is now night time. Angel trembles, letting a soft sigh escape her as she begins to speak.

I let you down momma. I was going to make you so proud of me and win that title for you. Instead I was defeated. I hope you can forgive me. I love you and I miss you.

Angel wipes her face off with a black silk hankerchief. Angel then runs her fingers over the black marble headstone that was placed there. Angel tarces her fingers over the dates on it. May 05, 1952 - May 28, 2004. Angel sighs and lowers her head, then bends down and kisses the top of the headstone. Angel stands and turns walking towards her escape. Angel spots the camera crew and glares at them.

See Faith. I told you all would be well and good by the time it came down to me and you. I can now try and focus as best as I can on our match. Maybe you will give me more of a challenge this time. One could only hope right? No worries Faith. I am sure you will. Infact I offer you my respect whether you want it or not. You are determined to get what you want and not let anyone stop you. Well. I too am the same. Or shall I saw we both used to be determined. One person stopped you Faith. The very same person who stopped Kristina and myself. That person is Jade. Jade is now the only target I see. However Jade is not the issue right now.

Angel continues to walk, not caring about the rain that continues to pour down onto her.

You are the issue Faith. You are the woman I must fight on Sunday. The woman I must beat on Sunday. The woman I will learn from on Sunday. That si right Faith. I will learn from you. I will learn how to be a better fighter. I will learn how to put my best foot forward and take on everything that comes at me. I will learn to overcome all that stands against me and then move onto even bigger challenges that lay ahead for me. You see Faith you may be a challenge to me. Know this... there is a bigger challenge than you out there. You are going to be a warm up for me. Maybe even a full blown work out. I could use a good one. See you Sunday Faith

Angel reaches her escape and unlocks it, slipping inside. The scene switches to inside her escape with Angel dialing on her cell. Angel shivers slightly from being out in the cold all day.

Hey Ethan.. it's just me .. Angel...

Angel bites her lip to hide the fact she is shivering.

I was just calling to make sure you made it home ok.

Angel nods.

That is good. I'll let you get back to whatever you were doing. Good Night

Angel listens to Ethan say his good byes and then hangs up sighing and resting her forehead against the steering wheel as the scene fades out.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
People who were in this RP:
Bencino:

Gino:

Abe:

Genesis:

Thanks for reading![/dohtml]
