Due to an early meeting - we trained at the park this morning to avoid traffic.

20 Bench Jumps(the bench at the park was slightly lower than the one we used at the gym - probably closer like the first bench)

From 3/31 workout - Poison Tabata sprints - Jump rope

30second bridge holds

Then while Rebecca did the 4/23 WOD(13min 1rd 40# all others 30#,thought she was dying) I did 4 rounds of DB swings - light weight 20#, 20 reps

Legs are still pretty sore from Monday

LOL! It took her 13 min. to complete 4/23? That's not too bad. :))

Taking today as a rest day - arms are killing me from Tuesday :boxing1: and legs are just getting feeling back from Monday. I'm normally my sorest 2 days after a workout and today - the arms don't even go over the head. I'll probably do a vinyasa(stretching) yoga tonight to help get things moving for Friday Mornings workout.

Friday 4/27
3 Rounds:

1. Stiff-Legged Deadlift- 20 @ 60#
2. Pullups- 20 @100
3. No rower at Golds - so elliptical at level 10 - .5miles


We didn't time Friday as I wanted to make sure i did the deadlifts slow and right. It seemed to take longer than normal though - looking at the times posted 20-30min seems about what it took us.

2. 10rep max seated row @75#

3. 20 jumping squats

didn't have a second clock - but completed in 18:xx

20 handstand pushups (after the 2nd round these were pretty weak if you could even call it a push up at all)

Mon 5/7

Tried a new rowing interval program on the rower. 1min on, 1rest, 2min on, 2 rest. to 7min. the rest periods got a bit annoying and long. I was thinking it was a straight 1min on 1min off program, but it wasn't. Was good to try something new though. not sure I'll do it again - the rests were just too long.

this morning took FOREVER -around 18min. the WOD called for 5 rounds - but it just wasn't happening this AM. for the pullups, the gravitron at GOLDS is a knee one - and it must be easier cause I can normally do 100# with failure around 12 and then 2-3 in a row until complete. This AM at mountainside I was at 130# and failed at 10. Pretty sure I'm having an off day - can barely pick up a pencil
