The small boy giggled as he looked towards the Agumon, who's frown was pretty much visible through his gritted teeth. For one thing, he was having a hard time believing that he could possibly lose at chess, to a five year old boy. Not to mention, a five year old boy, who was a clone. But, there it was. His castle piece was directly infront of Ag's king piece. "I just don't understand this..." As Ag rose up from the table, he watched as Ian ran over to him, gently patting him on the head before giggling. Considering they were about the same height, he could have easily bite the boy. But, that wasn't in his nature. He was a better sportsman than that. "Its ok! Kotone was the one that taught me how to play. She said I was a natural..." The Agumon then smirked, so that explained it. The boy had played this game before, with Kotone. The dinosaur then chuckled, crossing his arms over his chest as he grinned towards the young boy. "So I see..." Ian grinned back, but his smile quickly faded he looked towards the door. He wondered when Kotone was going to be home? So far, everyone had been so busy, with the Inaba's doing something with papers, and Shaun leaving so early in the morning, the only person he really saw was Kotone.

It meant she saw her friends again...but it also meant the difficulties of school. She was increasing in areas like math and science, but literature and English and history were starting to pose problems. Kotone walked into the kitchen and dropped her bookbag on the floor. "Hey Ag. Hi Ian." She gave Ian an affectionate hug. Blossom came in, and of course Dante wasn't far behind. "KOTONE!" Dante ran to her. She picked him up and tickled his stomach. "How was school?" Blossom asked. "Sucky." Kotone answered simply. That was when she heard the doorbell ring. She went to get it and was greeted by an old woman in a grey uniform and about five police cars. People were standing on the street, staring. Some of the police officers raised their guns as she opened the door. "Who is it Kotone?" Blossom yelled from the kitchen. Kotone couldn't talk. She stared at the scene in front of her house. Then finally she looked at the closest police man and said, "We got caught, huh?"

The dinosaur, walking to Kotone's side, blinked and then looked up at the stranger with a calm expression. "Um...can we help you?" Probably wasn't the best idea for him to speak, after all, considering how digimon weren't exactly friends with everyone. But, being as he was Kotone's partner, at least one of them, he believed that he had the right to ask why their were police upon the front lawn and this lady at the door.

"Your tamer has been connected with the murders of twenty people. Kotone, you are going to come with us for questioning." "Death by lethal injection. I know." Kotone let out a sigh. "Kotone! Don't talk like that!" Blossom snapped. She looked at the woman. "You have to wait for her parents!"

The Agumon then looked back towards the female, frowning as he knew the Palmon was right. The fact that they planned to take Kotone away without her parents concent was illegal. "I agree! You can't just take her without their knowledge!" While all this was happening, Ian giggled as he saw all the police cars infront of the house. "Look at the pretty lights! Their so cool..."

And you can't take me without my parent's knowing!" "You're not their concern anymore. You are once again the government's cocern." the woman said. "WHAT?!" Kotone glared at her. "You can't do that!" "I already have." the woman replied. "Now please come with us."

There was no way he was going to let them just take her, not without explaining why they were doing so. "Explain to me how it is that you can take Kotone!Especially without any papers or anything like that!"

"-to 200 murders. And that same imformation linked Kotone to twenty of them." the woman continued as if Kotone hadn't said anything. "You are going to come with us for questioning, Kotone. We have a warrant for your arrest." She pulled out a sheet of paper. "Well I'll be damned." Kotone murmured.

"Ok? I'll see you again soon." "I'm coming with her." Blossom said firmly. "That's fine." the woman said. She signaled a police man. They came up and put handcuffs on Kotone. "Given the evidence we have found you can not be trusted to move about freely. I'm sorry." Kotone just rolled her eyes. Like handcuffs can hold me. But whatever...

Blossom, make sure she doesn't say anything intill a lawyer gets there to defend her..." Ag then looked towards Kotone, a calm expression on his face as he watched them handcuff her. All he could see was the little girl, who had carried him to the beach. But the image faded when he saw her being lead away. "Good grief..."

Like Ag, she saw the little girl that had been the first thing Blossom had ever laid eyes on. Her tamer. Her best friend. Kotone wasn't a bad kid. Never! Kotone had simply done what she thought was right. Blossom had never agreed to it, but she would still stand beside her. "Are you scared?" Blossom asked once they were in the car. "A little. I'm afraid of life in prison." Kotone answered. "But not death?" "I hear it's rather quick."
