"My Path is clear..." Posts: 4,778 Group: Global Mod Member #11 Joined: March 27, 2006	It had been some hours since their return, yet many of the feelings remained. Shaun had only made one phone call, and that was really nothing but dating times and places. After that, the teen seemed to lay within Katsu's room, his eyes staring towards the ceiling, not blinking once. It was like he was trying to find truth within himself, his soul. Was it really possible that everything he had done was really nothing? That he wasn't anything but an experiment that was a sucess. No, it wasn't a sucess...After all, Zack and Ian had turned out complete opposites of the originals. In fact, so did he... Ag meanwhile, continued his conversation on the phone with Neera, speaking to her about the events of the day. "Yes....I know its amazing...Nope I haven't even talked to him about it, been to busy working on something else. Mostly on a surprise for someone special...No its not for a guardian, its for you!! Oh great! Now you know about it! Haha very funny Neera...Yup...Ok...Alright I'll tell her for Olivia...Love you too..bye" Ian watched as the dinosaur put the phone down and then blinked as he could see a smile on the Agumon's face. But for the moment, he wasn't wondering on that, he was worried about Kotone. She had seemed so sad since she got back. He wasn't even sure on where she was right now...

She was sitting on the grass and watching the dogs run around and bark. Like Shaun, she had a lot of things going through her mind. She was worried about Shaun. Deeply. That...and she kept thinking about her parents. Her birth ones. As Kotone thought, she kept turning her mother's pendant over in her hand. Blossom came downstairs after putting Dante to bed. She looked at Ag and sighed. "Is Kotone still sitting outside?"

Not only that, but Shaun been up in Katsu's room as well. I really don't get whats going on with those two. You'd think they would be trying to talk to one another about this..." Ian listened from the kitchen, his mouth closed and his ears open. As his brown hair now laid properly lifted, one lone strand dangled over his forehead, causing him to constantly attempt to pull it away. As Kotone rested in the backyard, she would notice a figure moving on the roof,and then jumping onto the side walk. As the red haired teen moved swiftly, he stopped for a moment, looked around and then walked casually down the block.

"Especially to each other. I think they both want to give each other a little space right now. Kotone sure wants Shaun to...she's really worried about him." -------------- The dogs sure noticed. All three of them started barking at the red head, who was now calmly strolling down the sidewalk. Kotone was jerked from her thoughts and she looked over. She went to the gate and put one hand in her pocket. She still had her gun, if she needed it. Usually Kotone wouldn't have been so on edge...but tonight, Kotone probably would have been on edge if it were a stray cat. "Down. Down." Kotone murmured to the dogs. She slipped out of the gate and looked towards the teenager. "Hey. What're you doing out here?"

After all, it hasn't been this quiet since Kotone was in the hospital...", Ag stated while he shook his head. "I just want this night to be over with...That way maybe I can come up with a better way to....." The digimon grew silent, he wasn't sure if he could get himself to say it. But he did say would try and come up with a plan to get back at OHG. --------------------------- The dark figure said nothing, only pointing towards the distance. Further out, there were two people standing on the sidewalk. One appeared much older, heavy sacked, yet he was wearing a grey suit coat. With a pair of dark sunglasses covering his eyes, only his white teeth could be seen clearly in the light of the half moon over head. Beside this person was a smaller figure, long black jacket hanging over his shoulders. His hair a color of red, he looked towards his companion with a serious expression. It was none other than Shaun. Leaning against a nearby fence post, the teen sighed as he handed the stranger a small stack of papers. "Did you know about any of this?", Shaun asked calmly as he then lowered his gaze to the ground. There was obviously some familarity between the two, since it was rare when Shaun would lower his gaze from a stranger. The large man looked through the pages, his smile fading as he then turned his face towards Shaun. "You know you shouldn't believe everything you read kid..." Shaun frowned as he continued to avoid looking at this person. "Yea, good thing I have a confession to go with it...George...You've known me longer than anyone else. Am I really what it says I am?" George Benson closed his eyes and let out a long sigh. Placing his hand on Shaun's shoulder he shook his head. "Its alot deeper than it appears Shaun. In fact, even I don't know how to fully explain it..." "Try me...",Shaun responded quickly, hoping that this might be the answer he's been looking for.

She sighed. "It's not the greatest idea in the world. Breaking into an organization where everyone knows how to kill, and will if they have to? But Kotone seems very set on it." --------- Kotone relaxed when she saw Shaun. She pulled her hand out of her pocket and leaned against the gate. She didn't say anything, just watched. Though she did shift into the shadows and hide herself. Just like her brother taught her to do. She wasn't hiding for any particular reason. She wasn't worried about getting 'caught.' Kotone just thought that her brother might not exactly be thrilled to see her right now. This whole thing is just...earth shattering. Kotone thought to herself as she silently watched her brother and his friend. I don't know what to think, now. Could I have more brothers out there? Clones like Shaun and Ian? Maybe even sisters? Kotone slowly shook her head and she sat down on the ground. If it hadn't been for that formula, would I be in California right now? With my parents and Katsu and...and the original Shaun? Would I be happy? Kotone bit her lower lip and leaned her head back against the gate. But then Ian and Shaun and Zack would never have been born. Kotone glanced back at her brother. I love Shaun, and Ian's a sweet kid. Would I rather have my parents, and my original brothers? Or them? Kotone sighed and felt tears sting at her eyes. She didn't know what to do. She was confused. And she felt helpless. She wanted to be able to comfort her brother. He was the one that deserved to be confused and upset right now. Not her. Kotone shut her eyes. "Mom...Dad...Katsu...and anyone else...you guys have to help us out here." Kotone reopened her eyes and looked up at the stars. "Strike that...just Shaun." Kotone sighed again and closed her hand around her pendant. "I don't know up from down anymore, Mom..."

She's soo dead set on this that I think she will even go withput Shaun. Not that Shaun going with her would be a good thing, just that....At least when he was stable minded, we knew that he wouldn't allow anything to happen to Kotone, but now..." Ag was silent once more, he began to wonder if Shaun even considered Kotone as his sister anymore? What if he went crazy like Zack and tried to kill her? So many questions, and not enough answers... ---------------------------- "Im sure you already know about the inccident where you died right? Well, you didn't...", George said calmly, his eyes once again looking towards the boy. " You came close to dying, but we managed to save you...it was thanks to your parents..." Shaun blinked as he looked at the large man with a serious gaze. Now Benson had his full attention. " Their cloning formula? What could that have done to have me? I thought it was created only to make clones?" George laughed as he shook his head with a smirk. "Thats what the military had wanted. Your folks on the other hand wanted to use it more towards medical research. It almost has a healing ability, creating strong cells, and quicker healing to wounds and injuries..." When Shaun just stared at George, dumbstruck, the large man just patted him on the back as his laughter continued. "You didn't think you were healing so fast because you were lucky did you?" "But....the report...It was signed by the chief himself! Even you signed it!", Shaun then stepped away from the face, turning so that he was looking in the distance. "If what your saying is true, then what happened to the clone? For that matter, why lie saying that I was dead?" George scratched his head, a frown now lingered as he looked towards the moon. "Because....We couldn't allow something like to be known by the chief. He created a replicated version of your folks serum, but only because they believed that it would make perfect clones. If they were to learn that it was also a healing serum, they would work even harder into finding out the truth. Your death prevented them from trying to use you as a means to finding any information on your parents work...Katsu...He wasn't so lucky..." "Katsu...", Shaun repeated as he then turned to George with a confused glance." What this have to do with Katsu!?" "He wasn't gun down by thugs Shaun...His death was a set up too...",George then watched for the first time in years as Shaun fell to his knees. Tears streamed down his face as he held him his sobs. Everything, it had all been planned. His parents, Katsu being killed, the only accident was the fact that Shaun was thought to be dead. But thats to his parents, and their greatest creation, he was alive. Which meant...He could still do something... "Im....I really am...Shaun Fisher...Did...Did HQ know? Kiaran?" George smiled as he then looked to the sky again. "HQ was the one that came up with the idea. He wrote the report, sent it to the chief, and he believed thajt you had been replaced with a clone. Though I have no idea about where it may be now.." Shaun stood to his feet and laughed as he shook his head. "It doesn't matter! Im real! Kotone....she was right....I am really Shaun..." As he spoke, and pissed look appeared over him. "Which means I have work to do. Make sure Hq, Kiaran, and Diana are out of the building.." As Shaun began to walk away, George shouted out towards him with a smirk. "Just don't get yourself killed for real this time!!"

Blossom shook her head. "I certainly wouldn't put my life in his hands right now, much less Kotone's!" Blossom sat down on the couch. "But your right. She's set on this." -------------------- Kotone could hear every word they were saying, of course. And her heart nearly stopped when she heard what had happened. Katsu's death...his death had been planned?! All because of this stupid formula?! Kototne gritted her teeth. Tears were stinging at her eyes. Well...Shaun was the real Shaun. But OHG had still taken three people away from her. "D-DAMMIT!" Kotone screamed. Shaun and George would probably hear her, but she didn't care anymore. Kotone had a gun and she knew where to go. Kotone jumped up and took off running down the street as fast as she could.

At first, he had figured that she might just go home, but then it hit him. "Oh shit! KOTONE!!" As Shaun took off after the girl, George looked on with a calm expression. But soon, he began walking off into the city,disappearing into the darkness. --------------------- Ag winced as he heard a scream from outside. It sounded almost like Kotone, but that was impossible. Kotone was still outside in the back yard...right? "Please tell me that was Dante upstairs with Trey?"

Tears were flowing down her face, and and didn't care at the moment. She didn't care who she hurt or what she did, all she knew was that she want revenge. Kotone leapt into another yard and a large dog ran at her. Kotone shot it and kept going. "Stupid mutt!" Kotone muttered as she jumped another fence. -------------- "No..." Blossom slowly stood up. "That was a girl's voice...KOTONE!" Blossom ran outside and looked into the backyard. The dogs were there, but Kotone wasn't. "Aw DAMMIT!"

"My Path is clear..." Posts: 4,778 Group: Global Mod Member #11 Joined: March 27, 2006	Shaun wasn't that far behind her, he had heard her shoot the poor animal and then jump the next fence. He knew she had heard him, that was all there was to it. But the fact of the matter was that he couldn't have for going around trying to get revenge on any and everything. Her anger was making her manic, which wouldn't help her if she made it to the OHG building. Just as he closed in on her, he quickly grabbed her arm, trying to put her to a halt. "KOTONE!STOP!!", he shouted as he held her firmly in attempt to get her to listen. -------------- As Blossom ran to the back, Ag ran upstairs to Katsu room. Opening the door, he saw that Shaun wasn't in there. "Shaun isn't here!!", Ag shouted as he ran back down to the living room to see if Blossom had found Kotone.

But it was all in vain, and some part of her knew it. She still struggled, all the same. "LET ME GO! LET GO OF ME, DAMMIT!" Kotone turned her face away and tried to yank out of his grip again. "THAT'S WHAT YOU WANT TO DO, ISN'T IT?! IF I HADN'T MADE YOU PROMISE AND BEGGED YOU TO STAY, YOU WOULDN'T BE HERE!" Kotone aimed a strong kick at Shaun's shin, still trying to get away. "JUST LET GO!" Kick. "LEAVE!" Kick. "YOU CAN'T REALLY WANT ME! HOW COULD YOU?! YOU KNEW I WAS OUT THERE, DIDN'T YOU?! WHY DIDN'T YOU TRY TO FIND ME?!" --------------- Blossom look in the kitchen, the living room, quickly ran up to Kotone's room and swore. "Dammit! They're both gone!"

As he listened to her, he continued to defend himself, intill the point where he grabbed her other arm ,forcing her to look at him. "BECAUSE I DIDN"T KNOW!! I DIDN"T KNOW THAT KATSU WAS DEAD!! I DIDN"T WANT HIM TO KNOW WHAT I HAD TURNED INTO! I WAS KILLING PEOPLE KOTONE!! KILLING PEOPLE, WHO I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW! FOR WHAT!? BECAUSE OF THE FACT THAT THEY WERE CRIMINALS!?" Looking towards the ground, Shaun sighed as he closed his eyes. "But then, maybe if I had stayed in the orphanage...none of this would have happened. Katsu would still be alive, and maybe we'd all be alittle more happier..."

Her legs buckled under her, and Shaun would be the only thing holding her up. Finally she started shaking her headand started yelling in Japanese. Eventually she started talking in English again, but her sobs broke through her words. "All...be...cause....of...th...em...." Kotone sobbed. "Mom...Dad...Kat...su..." She shook her head again. "I'm...so...STUPID!"

"No your not...Neither of us could have seen this, not even Katsu..." as he continued to hold her, he then looked into her eyes with a calm expression. "Which is why we're gonna stop them...We have to...but we can't act in revenge, not this time. Its more than just that now, its our family's honor thats been taken..." ----------------- Ag looked around and then frowned as he said a curse in japanese and then blinked as he realized what he just did. "Anyway! We have to find them!"
