He enjoys a good challenge, and while his ambitions extend only to getting stronger he doesn't mind working towards something even greater. He'll follow a strong leader if the goal fulfills his desire for adventure and power. He's loyal to his partner, friends and comrades because he knows that they grant him a greater strength than he can ever acquire on his own. Best Qualities: Loyal, determined, courageous Worst Qualities: Quick to anger Opinions: Might makes right. Opinion of Battle: Betamon loves battle. Through battle he can become even stronger. Opinion of Humans: Humans are just another species inhabiting the world. Tamers' Digimon provide a greater challenge and opportunity for improving his abilities. Opinion of Self: Betamon normally thinks about neither his opinion of himself nor his self confidence. Even if either is lowered at times, he believes that with courage he can tackle any challenge. Even if he fails, he believes he'll have bettered himself by making the effort. Dimension: Betamon was from Realm 9. He was born with the X Antibody that granted him greater abilities than other Digimon who didn't have it. After he realized that he had been abandoned as a Digi-Egg, he was taken in by a WarGreymon X who taught him the value of strength. It was to be used for fighting against villains and protecting what's important. He also told Betamon to follow his own moral compass, regardless of what others thought. Life with WarGreymon was an adventure as they traveled across the Digital World exploring ruins and dangerous areas. He couldn't have asked for a better life. But unfortunately for him, the World was not so kind as to allow him to continue living happily. A massive crash of data swept across the Digital World and corrupted the land. It spread out and tore up parts of the landscape while deleting everything it came into contact with. WarGreymon threw the little Betamon into one of the pits littering the ground before his life was extinguished. Betamon continued to fall backward while cursing the Digital World for taking the only parent figure he'd even known from him. He wasn't strong enough to do anything. He shed tears of loss for WarGreymon until he was shocked back to his senses by hitting the pavement. He had been plopped right in front of a scarved man with an angry look in his eyes. The man didn't say anything, but their eyes met and saw their own reflections. Without words, they understood why their eyes looked so similar. This was the beginning of their partnership. The ofrce of the data crash had damaged the border between dimensions and a Digivice had called Betamon to action. He couldn't refuse a destiny that involved becoming stronger, strong enough to fight even the Digital World itself. If he was with this man, it felt like he could do just that.
