Post: Types of Events

There are a series of events that can take place in the Arena. These include:

Tournaments:

A major competition that comes up for Tamers and Digimon to participate in. The type of tournament is declared sometime before the contestants sign up and the rules will be explained once the matches begin. Rewards are given out to those who win the tournament and those who participated.

Major Tournaments:

These basically work in the same way as normal tournaments except they only occur once every few tournaments. The rewards for participating along with those who managed to get into the top three places are greater than those in ordinary tournaments.

Competitions:

Competitions are held on a more regular basis than tournaments or major tournaments. They are designed to test the contestants in certain ways and although tend to get a little competitive, they are more intended for fun and to boost the contestants in that particular area. At this moment, no prizes are given for participating or winning a competition.

Exhibition Matches:

These are a single match that display the contestants strength and skill against their opponent. The rules of the match are left up to the contestants including the type of battlefield. These can be good for casual matches though they can also be used to settle a rivalry.
