Was it lust or love he saw when he stared at her? None could truly tell, for the man's eyes had been turned so cold from his past deeds.. Gem continued to read from the romance novel as she relaxed with in her old hut. It had been sometime since she had lived there, but due to her recent leave of absence from the Timeheart mansion, she had once again turned it into her home. It had taken much time and effort, though it was finally back to the way it had once been, before Slayers events and her abandonment of it. Looking towards the Tiki bar once again, she sighed when she couldn't remember the last time she had ever used the thing, or even knew what to use it for. " I have way too much stuff in here..", the Gatomon stated with a smirk as she placed the book down and then rose up from her bed. Walking down the short length of the hall towards the kitchen, she managed to opened the fridge door and pull out a bottle of milk and then walked to the cupboard to retrieve a cup. Yes, it was just like when she was alittle younger. Though she had made time to check up on Jewel, she knew that Drake would take very good care of her, along with the others in the house. She just needed time to herself for a bit longer. But with all the things that had happened that week, she felt that she was almost ready to return back to her duties as Drake's partner. "Im gonna miss this little hut..maybe I should think about renting it out or something..", Gem said calmly as she poured some of the milk into the glass cup. "In any case, theres no way Im selling it, might want to use it when I get some free time.."
