 What are the requirements for having another character? (can't remember if I asked or not)

 I apoligize for double posting, but i didn't want to spam the board with questions like I did before.

If I create a shop and my character runs it personally, do I get 100% of the profits or does the bank get some? (not including the rent)

Also, is there a limit to how much or how many types of things you can sell in your own shop?
