(And myself, of course.) You shall all receive a gift of unreasonable goodness, to celebrate this absolutely wonderful holiday of Passover, where everybody is happy with what they have......[/Sarcasm] Anyway, in all seriousness, you shall all receive gifts. They are the following: A large bone. This large bone can easily make a good clubbing weapon, and will last for quite a while. 3,000 Bits. This money will be very useful for doing things which involve some kind of currency. Book of Spells. This book will enable you to boost all of your abilities for about 8 turns. It can only be used for a total of Eight turns. If you no longer need it in battle, there is also a spell to cancel the effect, but it will not reset the 8 turn counter. After a total of eight turns, this book will disintigrate. (The boost can be allocated however you wish. If it was evenly distributed, you would have doubled EVERY ability, so have fun with it.) (Sorry about the strangeness of the gifts, I was trying to make them Passover themed, lol. One of the items on the Sedar plate is a Shank Bone, the money is just something my family does, and I think Alice's too, and the book of Spells represents the prayer book, where we give thanks to God for delivering us from Slavery....Since it involves God, I had to make it uber good, lol.) These are for everyone. To claim these gifts, just post here so I know you've read the topic, and they shall be yours. If you are using these items and you have NOT posted here, the effects will be null and void. Also, This event will only last until the end of Passover. (I will post here when it has ended, to prevent confusion.) Edit: Only one per member of each. They can be transferred between accounts, however. So, say I have an account called Bob, and one called Fred. If Fred wants to use three turns from the book, and then Bob wants to use four turns, then that is seven turns on the book, and neither account can get it replaced. For anyone interested, here's the story of passover: A long time ago, Jews were enslaved in ancients Eygpt by, well, Egyptians. The Pharaoh saw at that time that a Jewish baby male would be born that would overthrow him. To stop this from happening, Pharaoh killed all Jewish newborn males by throwing them in the river, where they would be eaten by crocodiles or drown. Or both. Anyway, Mose's mother, Jochebed, had already borne a son and daughter: Aaron and Miriam respectively, both old, and Aaron old enough not to be killed. But she gave birth to a new son. After hiding him for 3 months, she placed him in a basket and put him in the river, hoping he would float to safety. Instead, he landed near where Pharaoh's daughter was playing by the river. The young woman picked him up, and adopted him. Pharaoh was initially suspicious, and made a test: he put a burning coal, and a crown in front of Moses. If Moses were to touch the crown, it meant he was vying for the Pharaoh's power, and would be killed. Moses, like any child, was attracted to the shiny thing, but an angel form heaven re-directed hand to the coal. Mose's finger was burned, as well as his tongue when he put his finger in his mouth, leaving him with a lisp. Moses from then on was raised as one of Pharaoh's own sons. One day, Moses saw how the Jews were treated, and ran away to become a shepherd. After years of being a shepherd, G-d appeared to Moses as a burning bush. He told Moses to go to Pharaoh and free his people. G-d promised to help Moses. Moses returned to Pharaoh (with his brother, Aaron to help translate his lisp) and demanded the Pharaoh let "His people", the Jews, go. Though Pharaoh was excited to see Moses, he refused to free the Jewish people. Mose told Pharaoh that 10 plagues would go through Egypt until the Pharaoh relented. Undeterred, Pharaoh didn't relent, and Moses left. And so, 10 terrible plagues swept through Egypt by the power of G-d. First, when Moses dipped his rod into the Nile, water became blood, yet Pharaoh's own magicians did the same thing. Next, frogs rained down upon Egypt, providing a mere nuisance, though imagine waking with frogs in your bed, as Pharaoh did. Next, Moses summoned gnats, lice, and flies to annoy the people. Then Moses summoned wild animals. Pharaoh asked Moses to remove the plagues, which he did, but refused to free the Jews. Next, livestock belong to Egyptians began dying out, though Israeli cattle remained fine. The 6th plague was a literal plague of incurable boils. Seventh was Hail. Next was Locusts, which destroyed Egyptian fields or food. Then, darkness even during the day, though this odd phenomena didn't effect the areas where Jewish slaves lived Nine acts of G-d, and yet Pharaoh's heart was eternally hard. And so, Moses returned to Pharaoh one more, imploring him relent, before the final plague. Pharaoh didn't, and so Moses left.Mose instructed all the Jewish slaves to keep a lamb inside for a week, then feast on it. The night of the feast, they would need to paint their doors with the blood of the lamb, so the angel of death would "Pass over" their house. That night, the angel of death swept through Egypt, killing each first born human and animal, though the slaves that pained their houses were unaffected. Pharaoh's own firstborn son had died, and so, his heart softened. He told the Jews to leave, and go where ever they wished. The Jewish slaves began packing and prepared to head to Israel. However, Pharaoh has decided to take back what he said., The Jews hurry to leave, leaving before their bread can rise, and so began eating unleavened bread (Matzoh). The Jews hurried away form Egypt, but Pharaoh and his army chose to pursue them. G-d parted the red sea (red due to plankton) and allowed the Jews to cross. When the Pharaoh and his army attempt to cross, the sea closed, crushing the army and Pharaoh. From there, they Jews wandered for 40 years towards Israel. On the journey, Moses found the ten commandments written in stone. And that is the story of Moses, and the first part of Exodus. Any questions?
