The Rules
Posted by DestinedOne (Admin) at Jun 2 2009, 08:11 PM. 0 comments
General Rules
1. You may not have more than one account, unless you are a member of the staff and the second account is being used for a plot related character.
2. Please try to use correct grammar and punctuation and keep your posts in third person. Do not use chatspeak whilst in character.
3. Try to keep your signature size to a reasonable length. You can always use spoiler tags to reduce your signature in size. Also try to avoid putting no more than one GIF in your sig so other users can avoid lag. If your signature is unreasonable, you will be asked by a staff member to fix it. If you refuse to fix it then you will be given a warning and an admin will automatically change it.
4. Canon characters, which are characters from any Digimon series, movie, manga or game, cannot be used without admin permission. The same can be said about being related to a canon character. They may be modded by staff members in other dimensions though
5. Be respectful to all staff members and other members.
6. All accepted profiles in the sign up must go into the profile section under a topic named after your username.
7. No character deaths without staff permission.
8. You cannot RP in the RP section without an approved character. To obtain an approve character, follow the character template located in the sign up board and fill it out. Once it is complete, post it in the sign up board and then wait for a staff member to check it. If there are no problems with the profile a staff member will approve it. If there is a staff will tell you what you need to fix and you will need to fix those things before your character can be approved.
RP Rules
1. No Godmodding. Godmodding is the act of controlling another character other than your own. This includes killing or saying that you damaged somebody else’s character. Godmodding also includes making your character invincible. To new members this also includes controlling NPCs. NPCs can only be controlled by staff or people who have received staff permission.
2. For spirits or digimon, you cannot learn a new digivolution unless you asked a staff member, preferably an admin and they agreed that you should gain a new evolution. This also includes getting digi-eggs/digimentals.
3. With cards, you cannot use more than 3 cards in a single post unless you have a card that allows you to use more than 3 cards a turn. Cards can be used by Tamers, spirits or Digimon.
4. You cannot use the exact same copy of a card more than once a battle. You can however active the same card again provided you have more than 1 copy of that card unless it says otherwise on the card.
5. A standard Tamer can have between one and four digimon partners while a Tamer who uses a spirit can only have between one and three partners. Exceptions to this are characters belonging to staff or trusted members, who can have up to 3 more partners than those of a normal member. Players who have only one Tamer may exceed these limits should they have staff permission.
6. You cannot visit another dimension without staff permission.
7. To obtain a house or digi-hut for your character, you must ask an admin. An admin will notify you when the house has been built. If you want your description of the house to be something specific, also tell them what to put in it otherwise they will make up a random description.
8. Your characters cannot share money between each other. for example your Tamer cannot put his 5000 bits with the character you just created 5000 bits to have a total of 10,000 bits and buy that item costing 10,000 bits. There are exceptions to this, such as if a solo digimon becomes a partner to a Tamer, then their money is merged.

Evolution

Forms of Digivolution:
General- Basically Baby1/Fresh-Baby2/In-training-Child/Rookie-Adult/Champion-Perfect-Ultimate ( Also known as Fresh-In Training-Rookie-Champion-Ultimate-Mega). Crests are not needed, but are used for a different purpose. A tamer speeds up the process greatly.
Armor: If you find a digi-mental you can armor digivolve. There will also be a way to make you own, later. They will evolve you into either an armor, adult, or perfect-level digimon.
Jogress: Two digimon of the same level can evolve together to form a digimon one level higher and very powerful. This ability needs to be gained. The two digimon usually will need to have bonded closely with each other.
Matrix Evolution: This joins the digimon and tamer into one ultimate-level digimon. If your line doesn't already come with a matrix level, you may choose it yourself.
Burst Mode: This allows an ultimate digimon to evolve into a more powerful form of themselves (Dukemon to Dukemon Medieval Mode, Rosemon to Rosemon Burst mode). While not all digimon have a burst mode, while Matrix evolved, if you have enough EVP, you can evolve into a more powerful ultimate, whether it is a mode change or not.
Super Ultimate: This is also a digivolution from ultimate into a more powerful form however these Digimon aren't classed as Burst Modes and are the proper level above ultimate, whereas burst mode is usually just a mode change. They are even more powerful than a normal burst mode however at the moment, there are only 5 official super ultimate's in existence.
2nd Burst Mode: 2nd Burst Mode is a more powerful form of the Burst Mode stage however are even fewer in number. Imperialdramon (ultimate) digivolves into Imperialdramon Fighter Mode (burst mode), and then once more into its 2nd Burst Mode, Imperialdramon Paladin Mode. They are very few in number, less than even Super Ultimates.
In order to digivolve your characters past the level you start out with, you must go through the admin approval system. If the admins allow approve of you being able to digivolve to a certain level (e.g say you started at adult and the admins approve of you being able to reach perfect), then you will be able to use that level.
Instead of a new character, you can have Candmon slide-evolve into Bearmon and start training that line. Each line acts a serperate entity with the same personality. One can only slide evolve to a digimon that is their level when they preform slide-evolution.
You get these evolutions handed out by the staff either by pm or they will post in a thread that you have evolved.

D-Pak (Thanks, MangoPocky!): Unless other wise noted, it will look like a season 01 digivice, 'cept with any colors you want.
It has the following abilities:
Digivolve digimon with experience
Card slash
Bio-Emerging is possible once you and your digimon have gone through a 'ritual'. For info, talk to the Mods or Admin.
It stores items
Tracks any digimon with partners
Tracks other digivices
Can connect to the internet (^__^)
Can open digiworld portals anywhere
Acts as digimon-tamer license.
Send messages to other digivices
Can open portal to real world this dimension's digiworld and real world are world's #7)
CAN DOWNLOAD AND PLAY MUSIC!
Once your digimon reaches it's Perfect (Ultimate) form, you will be able to see what your digimon sees, and communicate with them, no matter how far away (thanks Timeheart!)

Character-Made digimon

If you are fan-made, you must give us a detailed description of what you look like. Also, you can have an Evolution line with both real and fan-made digimon. Make sure to make new and special attacks and personality, etc. Your description will be put into a new area, the Fan Digidex, with all info you can give, so others can be that type of digimon (with your permission) and understand your digimon. There is no singular type of digimon, not even DORUmon is a only-shot digimon. This means that theoretically, every single member could be one...but that's highly inadvisable.
Dimensions

As you may have noticed by now, different digimon dimensions exist. They are basically other worlds. Portals have broken through many of them, throwing digimon and humans into new dimensions and new 'adventures'. So, perhaps your person isn't from this dimension? Consider it, and tell us, if they are from another dimension, how they got into this one.
There are about 12 different 'realms', the more common name for dimensions. this would be the 7th. Omni's note: There are only 12 RECORDED realms. Only Jorris knows for sure.
Season 1+2=Realm 1
Season 3=Realm 5
Season 4= Realm 8
Season 5= Realm 3
V-tamer and Digimon:Next= Realm 2
others= not sure yet.
Realm 11 and 12 are off-limits.
Please post here if you have a character from a different realm.
Realm list and basic info:
Realm 1= Home of Digimon Adventure 01 and 02. It has 4 different time zones from which you character can appear:
*Pre-Season 1: The digital world is only just beginning, not very troubled with evil. 5 main digidestines here, whose overall statistics are unknown. Little to no knowledge of the digital world to anyone from this time period.
*Season 01- This season is where you are flung against your will into a random part of the digital world with a digimon partner. If you come from this time, your pretty well educated in digimon... of your own time period.
*Season 02- Many more digidestind are around. Tamers in this period have a general knowledge of most digimon-related terms from this season and the one before it. Digimon are still unknown publicly.
*Post Season 02- Everyone in the world now has 1 digimon partner, and knows most things about digimon and care for them. Very few threats at this point.
Realm 2= Digimon is a fad here, but there are a few kids who have been transported to the digital world through their V-pets. Digimon is very popular, so someone from this dimension should have VERY strong feelings about digimon (whether negative or positive) and have many doubts of their existence. They'd pretty much freak out if they met some one from any of the TV seasons or video games.
Realm 3= Very little is known. Digimon are known here, and very few are evil. Those who are are contained by a special force: DATS.
Realm 4=No digimon activity here. NONE, not even as a fad. It actually is the only realm without a digital world counter part.
Realm 5= Digimon is a fad here. It's actually more of a way of life. But no one believes that digimon are real. There are a few humans who get digimon, though. The digimon from this realm have perfected their skill of hiding from humans. The Digi-Gods spend most time here.
Realm 6= This is the counterpart to realm 4. There is no real world, just a digital world and digital humans. Many Fan-Made digimon are formed and created here. Also, researchers from other realm's go here to study digimon.
Realm 7= Our RPG's realm. The RPG only takes place in a small city. Digimon are known here both as a fad and real thing. Only the state of New Jersey and a few other areas have real digimon. The main threat at the moment is Jorris, a young genius set on destroying real life so as to make a 2nd plain of pure digital world.
Realm 8= Digimon is only a fad in japan. There is a digital world based on humans turning into digital monsters. However, Realm Seven destroys the ability to turn into a digimon with spirits (there ARE other ways).
Realm 9= All the data is corrupt here. Very few things have survived a recent crash of data in the digital world. Many X-digimon are from here. Humans live completely oblivious to Digimon.
Realm 10= Digimon was a dying fad until a few digimon started showing up around the world. Only a few people are actually digimon tamers there, so digimon don't affect life too much. They are treated just like humans. This is because many are in lower forms or have evolved into human-type digimon. This is because the digital world was corrupted and destroyed, sending many digimon into the real world. The force also caused many digimon from other realms to land here. Because so few people are digimon tamers (roughly 3 in every 10'000 square miles) many of the digimon tamer have more then one digimon.
Realm 11=Yet to be explored.
Realm 12= It is but a legend....
Recently Discovered realms:
(Special Permission only. Get permission from Freya, who made it, lol.) Dimension 13: A land where peace is non-existent between the Human and Digital world.
