Hello,

I got a new computer for xmas, which has onboard gfx [SiS730.. sigh.] which doesn't work. So, I got a cheap (I'm broke.) S3 Trio 3D, the guys in #linux said it would work, even though it's old..However, when I try installing Mandrake, it detects the onboard gfx as well, and asks me which I want to configure, I choose the S3.. then it gives me some options (res, colour depth etc) I left them at the default for now, and then it asks me if I want to test the configuration, so I try testing it, and it tells me there was an error, and to try changing some of the options (No, it doesn't specify WHAT error it had, just that it had an error) Tried changing the options, to no avail.. Hopefully, I'll be able to get a DECENT graphics card at some point, but can anyone help?

Please help

I didn't find the right solution from the internet.
