So... should we be concerned that in the last panel Bubbles is squirming? Is Lincoln doing (trying to do) something to him?

Nah, Bubbles is fine! He's just never been manhandled before. (I don't do this often, but I'm going to pat myself on the back for this strip. Or, the feedback I've gotten, I should say... Here's Lincoln, who just showed off an entire hall of his own weird constructs to Pat, and who's inspecting Pat's in turn. From Lincoln's perspective, this is perfectly reasonable. One could even argue Lincoln is being polite! But from the readers' perspective, it's get your hands off of Bubbles!!!!!!! I love how this strip has been received. I'm doing my job right!) |

This strip had me laughing. And then the following strip cracked me completely. Oh, my, word. The whispered commentary between Smithback and Mulcahy, and then just _look_ at the expression on poor Bubbles in the following panels. I laughed so much my chest hurt.
