I like that the argument is now audible, and the babysitting line, but isn't the first part of the story supposed to be set in the mid-2000's, making references to Tumblr (founded 2007, went hot significantly later) and the fall of Glenn Beck (2011) and Air America (2010) rather anachronistic? Or maybe the time is a little more indeterminate now.

Remember that Air America went Bankrupt (the First Time) in October of 2006. Love him or Hate him, with Glen Beck, it's hard to call anything in his Radio or TV Career since 2000 when he went from Morning DJ to Talk Radio a "Failure". Getting the Gig on Headline News was seen as a "Step Up" even though he still did his Radio Show (which did and still does very well), moving to Fox was another "Step Up" while quitting Fox to start his own Show/Network might be seen as Insanity, but in retrospect it is yet another "Step Up". People arguing that Fox fired Beck then have to explain why Fox would then allow Beck's last show there to be televised Live, NOT something done with somebody who has been Fired. |
