Link to comic Well, this should be fun. As a bit of a sidenote, and an odd question: Otter, how do we get an average of 129? That would imply that the sum of Pat's, Speedy's, and Ben's ages is 387... and Ben is (as of today in the real world) 307 years old. Speedy can't be that old, and I expect Pat is (well) under 40... Is the comic really taking place around 2040-2050 at this point? |

I was going to say that "adults" was probably excluding Speedy, since 18 is the high end of the koala lifespan... but if Ben's age is 307 and the average of Ben and Pat's ages is 129, that makes Pat negative 49. So not sure. |

Say we place the comic in the near future, 10 years hence. That makes Ben 317. Leaves 70 to divvy up. Did Speedy get longevity along w/ speech? Pat 40 and Speedy 30? We've got ballpark numbers to work with now. Wish I had time for the archive dive to find Ben lecturing Hope sometime about how she should treat a XYZ year old man that way or some such. |

Haha! No, that's just me being shamefully bad at math. I will fix it tomorrow. Apologies for the confusion! |
