Link to comic. So this is interesting. Obviously, at least one American ghost can travel and has influence outside of America—despite Hope's earlier hypothesis that ghosts only have influence within their home territory. I assumed that Ben would have corrected them when we saw him in Australia, but apparently he didn't and it remained their best candidate hypothesis. Perhaps there's something unique about Ben in this respect—say, he's more internationally renowned, or just exceptionally powerful. (Still, why didn't he make them privy to this crucial piece of tactical information?) The last panel implies to me that whatever it is, Washington doesn't have it: he seems to have trouble seeing Pat properly. Also, this "light" business implies that ghosts must see pretty differently from us. I've been operating on the assumption that they see a bit like activated agents, given their ability to peer inside and through opaque substances, so I'm going to compare that with what Rachel has revealed about chip-assisted vision. |

Alternatively, it could mean that there are ghosts nearby that are shrouding Sparky so that Clarice can deal with him... That'd be just up her ally, a two-sided war, one on the homefront, and one stalking them abroad.

Maybe he's referring to the fact that Pat is actually talking to him in a civil manner, instead of the raging fun he's used to. |

Have you ever... Ever felt like this? How strange things happen, are you going Round the Twist Who's afraid of the big bad wolf? (Note: I have no involvement with the series, I just think it looks awesome) | |

Oooh—based on the latest comic, it looks like you're right: it is pretty directly related to that! Clever! |
