This... This is going to be fun. Place your bets people! EDIT: Also, Otter, I think you left a bold tag open somewhere in the associated newspost, 'cause now all the following newsposts are bold too. Edited by demonhunter, Nov 19 2012, 05:07 AM.

Have you ever... Ever felt like this? How strange things happen, are you going Round the Twist Who's afraid of the big bad wolf? (Note: I have no involvement with the series, I just think it looks awesome)

you know, its not the dumbest phobia ever - I have a completely unfounded phobia of cafeterias. That's dumb. :p Regarding last week's post from Otter about suitable viking words for "plothole", I've had a poke around and contacted a few academics in the field. The consensus is that, while there are numerous Old Norse words for various aspects of literary criticism, due to the lack of a concept of fiction (but not a lack of fiction itself, of course) plot hole is not included. Hypothetical compound nouns that we tried included sagaholr (literally "story-hole") as well as a few other variants that I can't reproduce properly here because I don't know how to make the accented letters. malgrof, if the had an acute accent and the o was hooked, would be "speaking-ditch"). I'm rambling. I'll stop. My bet is on a tie between Pat and Carlotta being broken by an unexpected third participant. Perhaps Agent 146? |

Sleepymancer's "third party" seems possible, but my money is on Pat. He deserves a little revenge; he was caught by surprise, and messing with someone's phobia is low. |

My money's on the one with the chip, that way I'm covered. :3 Me, I wouldn't be surprised if this goes from duel to all-out melee, and then somebody steps in to stop the crazy before they accidentally nuke topeka again. |

It takes an average of forty-three muscles to frown, seventeen muscles to smile... But only three for proper trigger squeeze. Si vis pacem, para bellum.
