So... I can't get past panel 3 visually. I mean, I read the whole comic but panel three... is that koala penis we're seeing? That little bit of pink hanging down by his leg?

Also, what happened to the forum traffic lately? Its been dead.
It takes an average of forty-three muscles to frown, seventeen muscles to smile...

But only three for proper trigger squeeze.

Si vis pacem, para bellum.

I'm just groovin to the Beach Blanket Bingo scene in the background of panel 1.

I got caught up on it until I realised it's the back of his paw—note the two toe pads. (It's been mentioned somewhere, but Speedy isn't intended to be anatomically correct—in many respects!) It would be a hilarious little addition if it was an overused koala wang, though.

My personal favourite was the last bit. "Koalas don't have a cultural heritage… yet." Speedy is super smart; he knows exactly what he's doing, and I think he looks forward to seeing what his dangerously smart offspring get up to. I'd be surprised if he wasn't already concocting some broader scheme.

(Wonder if super-intelligent koalas have ghosts?)

Right? We are talking some serious notoriety. He's already super famous—a perspicacious talking koala with his own radio show and a two-syllable name is bound to be a household name worldwide. As father of a goddamned nation and a whole new intelligent species, by all rights he should be more influential than Ben; heck, maybe even on a par with Lincoln in time.

Incidentally, the Australian outback covers well over a million km² of the continent and has a population of under 700,000. Mostly uninhabitable by humans, though with the right investment… Just sayin'.
