It took me a while to get panel 3, so I'll explain for anyone still in my boat - this is one of Clarice's thugs from earlier, so "you two crazy kids" is him and Clarice. I'm guessing now that Mike's moved his dojo from Vegas to DC. Why else would one of the responsible officers be with the DC police? |

I quite like the "shiny" reference :) Intentional or not, it made me smile :) Also, Mike might still be in Vegas. Although I admit, I have no idea how far away the two places are, but Santino could be on holiday?

Are you sure he's a thug? I thought he was the congressman who threatened Pat. |

I thought that too! But the archives show him as the right face - plus the wounded hand and the "you pulled a gun on someone under our protection". |

You are absolutely right. :) I went back to double-check 'cause at first I was like "Waaait.....we just went from Mike's dojo to...what....WHAT?!" LOL I don't think Mike's Dojo is moved, necessarily, since he lives in Vegas because there aren't ghosts there (so he can have peace), and DC would be a complete nightmare for him because of that. I think that Rachel's partner may be from D.C. Metro because of the fact that the Govt. is forcing agents from OACET to work with other branches of the government for "Inter-Agency Co-Operation" and all that jazz, and they probably would have brought him back to D.C. from Vegas because, since it involves a Rogue Agent who was previously in the program, this clearly falls under the jurisdiction of OACET. There's no reason for agents from OACET to go all the way out to Vegas to investigate, since they can bring the dickweeds to D.C. Also, if Mike's dojo was in D.C. I think that live-people would have showed up while Pat was dealing with Clarice, probably. I can't see him NOT calling in the others to get her sociopathic ass if she were that close to The Bat Cave. |

A quick plane trip, DC to Vegas, isn't that hard. Easier than extradition. What's with the lapel pin on the DC gumshoe. Is that his ghost link? Then he isn't in the program. I see a wacky crazy Sitcom coming. She's a Cyborg, he's a cop. Together they fight crime (and maybe fall in love). Edited by yfnsa, Mar 23 2012, 12:23 PM.

Good points. Except I don't think it's MPD/OACET cooperation in quite that vein; MPD isn't a federal agency* and I highly doubt it's the type of group OACET would be expected to collaborate with. Most likely they've brought the thug to DC and are involving the MPD because they're the ones with jurisdiction over what happened at the party last night, and probably have some good informal ties. (It's less likely, I think, for local police officers to travel across the country for a single case, especially an open-ended one that's not just picking someone up for extradition, as they'll normally have a dozen other things they have to get done at the same time.) * Congress can exercise direct control over it, like over all of DC's government, but that's different from being federal. |

I am curious about that too. Especially the V shape. Edited by joshuahaderach, Mar 26 2012, 01:18 AM.

The Swordsman by Jia Dao For ten years I have been polishing this sword; Its frosty edge has never been put to the test. Now I am holding it and showing it to you, sir: Is there anyone suffering from injustice? | |
