Will it be tight enough to strangle her or will just scare her? Will she be whisked away in time? If she is whisked away, would that take her out of danger? |

I love her face And it doesn't surprise me that she had never taken the time to realise this, but again, now she knows about it... She'll probably hold someone's pacemaker hostage :S

I can see it now. Clarice: "Do this or that, or I'll shut off your pacemaker!" Other person: "Go verb yourself." Clarice shuts off the pacemaker, other person dies and becomes a ghost with serious interest in doing Clarice harm. Oh yes. The next thing Pat could tell the arm to do is to shut itself off and, if possible, drop off. Edited by djheydt, Mar 8 2012, 04:49 PM.

More than likely, after Hope tore off her last one, this one is socketed into a frame that has been surgically attatched across her collarbone, as well as the nervous connections to her spine. The only way to disengage it is probably a physical safety catch somewhere on her opposite side. |

It takes an average of forty-three muscles to frown, seventeen muscles to smile... But only three for proper trigger squeeze. Si vis pacem, para bellum.

I made a joyful noise for about five seconds reading today's. This sequence is now almost certainly the "trap" planned in the last chapter. For dramatic appropriateness, Pat's Thing 3 would be "your ghosts are dispelled, you're stuck here until agents come to stick you in a cell." |

Today's comic makes me very, very happy. There are few things more comforting to my soul than Clarice getting a comeuppance. |

Just a small point... Where did the necklace go, did she drop it? |

She shatters it in the first panel between her fingers. You can only really see it on a tablet.

Could've sworn I called this one when Clarice revealed her new arm, but I can't find the post in the forums. Oh well. I might've called it! Is Pat gonna electrify Clarice and see what parts of her catch fire? I hear plastic is flammable, but I'm not sure about implants. |

If you can't live without me, why aren't you dead yet? I used to do drugs. I still do, but I used to, too. If God wants all the credit, he's getting all the blame.

I'm not sure if Clarice's chip is fully activated. She teleported out to somewhere before Pat activated the rest of the agents. |

Yeah, the whole fiasco at that safe house was Clarice trying to get fully activated. As of now, unless her ghosts figured something out, her chip is NOT fully activated. |

That's a correct statement, but let's keep in mind that the reason the destruction of the control computers left only the heroes with the ability to activate the chips was that, at the time, Ben was the only ghost with the technical savvy to activate people's chips directly from inside their skulls. Considering that everything about the chip except the War in Heaven has been made public, and that the rogue ghosts have gotten quite good at monkeying with people's gray matter at least, I'd give better than even odds of Clarice being fully activated. |

I was under the impression that Henry teleported her out ... and warned her that she'd be noncompos for "days, maybe weeks." http://agirlandherfed.com/1.665.html I don't know if she can teleport herself yet. |
