Special Broadcasting Service is probably the best source of Tv style news in Australia. Sydney Morning Herald is my preferred newspaper, I wont try to claim they are perfect, but they do the best job in terms of daily papers. And then there is Foreign Affairs which isn't Australian at all, but always makes for an interesting read. |

YLE, the Finnish Broadcasting Company, is Finland's national public service broadcasting company: news in English http://www.yle.fi/uutiset/news/ |

Holy crap, another Finn! (Ok, technically I'm still an aspiring Finn until my citizenship application is finalized.) I was going to mention Finnish news sources like YLE and Helsingin Sanomat, but the information they have in English is pretty limited. For good, honest news, though, you can't beat Finland. |

Yea, Finn allright. :) Well to topic. I don't consider Helsingin Sanomat unbiased. It poses to be such, and probably is on international and truly national concerns, but locally it has very strong bias favoring capital region as opposed to outlying provinces. Good example of this behaviour is late Lääkelaitos (national gency of medicine) issue, and you'll run at it in lot of funding stuff. |
