Oh that's fantastic! Looks like a freshwater system. Could be very pretty if done right.

Thanks Clem!

Okay, now that's just plain entertaining. I can't even keep a plant alive, much less a fish, but for some reason I want one.

Yeah, I imagine that would be quite the biatch to do water changes and algae cleaning on. I also can't seem to find any info showing the volume of the individual orbs. It's very pretty, but the display pics are overstocked - I don't think I'd put more than one fish per orb, myself, just to cut down on water changes and maintenance.

Nag and complain, nag and complain. It's all I do.

Perhaps it's because I'm overdue on my own water changes at home, and that's just 3 rectangular tanks. Bleh!

Footnote: My shrimp at work is carrying a gazillion eggs right now. That'll be interesting, in a 2-gal tank. Teehee.

i found the whole tanks size on the page... Water Volume: 230 Litres, when i did the math... if i remember correctly was like 63 some odd gallons....

not a bad sized tank... still wouldnt wanna be the brotha cleaning it out. looks like the top two orbs are the only ones that open.

i bet it has one of those magnet scrapers though... that's the only way i can figure out how to keep it clean.

meh, some setups have three opening orbs.....

btw it looks like most of those fish are photoshopped in. there's betas in there all over the place swimming willy nilly. they like to sit in like one spot.

Here's a fish tank decor idea courtesy of Make magazine. Cheap, different, nerdy, what's not to like?

Back in the lower Pleistocene when I had fish (just goldfish and guppies), we had little water snails in the tank with the fish that would eat the algae off the glass. I don't know if that would work with more exotic fish.
