Dun dun DUUNNNN!

So... now we perhaps find out. Is this part of Lincoln's "deathscape?" Or Douglass's? Or some ambient thanatography between their hangouts?

Wow. I mean, WOW. I knew they'd have to find a final resolution for the meddling ghosts situation, but I didn't expect her just to come out with something like that.

What does she mean "go"? Like, go go, or just "go leave us alone" go? These things are, so far as we can see, sustained purely through the strength of their impact on the living. How can you get rid of something like that without just making people forget about them?

The best I can come up with is that either they find a way of shielding or separating the living from the dead (Lincoln? Convincing him to stop lending his power out would be a start…) or they somehow resolve whatever is keeping the ghosts from moving on to their mutual satisfaction. Either way, I'll have to think on this a bit more.

So, I find it interesting that Kipling's comments about his coin mirror Josh's about his cell phone, Romeo. The psychic/cyborg's control increases due to familiarity, not simply due to skill. Makes it pretty clear that they have more in common than their first syllable.

His point about increasing ability (perhaps due to better/frequent training) over generations also underlines that this entire Australia trip's message might be "Fear Avery".

Just woolgathering...

Oh my God. So we've thrown around a few theories about how sensitives came to be that way, and it looks like not a few of them are about to be invalidated or modified by new information. Time to put on our hypothesis hats!

Also: Mike.

Well, this should be fun.

As a bit of a sidenote, and an odd question: Otter, how do we get an average of 129? That would imply that the sum of Pat's, Speedy's, and Ben's ages is 387... and Ben is (as of today in the real world) 307 years old. Speedy can't be that old, and I expect Pat is (well) under 40... Is the comic really taking place around 2040-2050 at this point?

So we've missed a couple of comics. Very important comics too, because they had  Mike  in. And Hope (sort-of) finding inner peace. And much, much squee.

But anyway, I really hope Ben was joking about that, because I don't think the world can take the concentrated dose of awesome horror that is zombie cyborgs.

You don't need inner peace, you need a little bread dipped in sugar water and you'll be covered in Lorikeets and the like!
