Nice one, I like sorting something out, and fixing it up so as it works. Gives a good sense of satisfaction.

One small question... You want to change the cable for dyneema bowrope? Coz I was looking at it for the winch that I've got coming. (Cost me £25  ) but I can't find it for much less than 150 plus VAT.

But it'll blow your 200 budget :(

Or have you sourced some cheaper?

Just a note on plasma rope
I'd only fit it if you have off road parking like Rich has
I caught someone trying to cut my steel cable back along
But then again I live in torpoint
It just seams abit to easy to me for someone to mess with

Wire I'm sticking with for the moment due to that reason mate

Dean can pull the rope off after a trip and put it back on beforehand

Yeah Rich I'm looking at about £150 for the rope fairlead and hook. A few quid for paint and then hopefully not much else, maybe some new brushes.
If i'm lucky I'll get some free stickers from Warn.

I may keep rope off winch and put on for trips but saying that were they only trying to nick the cable to weigh it in?

Cheers for the warning though guys.
