well after Big Nasty had to pull the plug on his planned day out and others who couldnt make it that left two of us going out to play in the rain...

so Trottster aka Andy had a route planned that he has been playing with so we opted to go with that with a few changes at the start.

the rain as we left the bridge carpark was very heavy to say the least it was hard going at times to see the A38 and still some mad people were passing us like we were stood still.

It all started well before dinner we hit all the lanes Andy had planned after dinner Andy decided to hit something else ( a wall....) and it all went a bit pear shaped from there lol.

but hay it all part of a day out and we had a laugh

so thanks mate for a good day out in south devon.

pics to follow

The pictures are a bit out of sequence due to the img numbers on the phone and camera being almost the same, but it gives an idea of what we did for the day.

as you can see in the picture we had heavy rain to blinding sunshine lucky for us we picked the sunny spells to stop and have a cuppa or clear a fallen bush / tree

Well first can i say a big thanks to Mike & Tina for being very patient with us yesterday due to our confusion between Tom Tom & Quo but it was our first day out leading. We had a great day doing a few lanes in South Devon which we have done many times before but all appears & feels very strange without a truck to follow , now i know through experience how much time & effort Mike & Paul put into our days out.
After realising that the Tom Tom does not select the next waypoint automatically that was one hurdle but then onto the next where we failed to number our itinary so we fell out of sync with the laptop running Quo, but ploughing on & with a lot of guidence from Mike we carried on with a smile from Mike & Tina visible through my rear view mirror or was it gritted teeth i could see as we then appeared to be going in a loop.
Well i am sat here now thinking about the next one so if you want to be entertained look out for the future days out .
Oh yes i forgot i have a lovely line down my n/s/r door which adds to other war wounds where my careful driving skills let me down & Mike your truck may be a bit wider than mine but your bullbar looked in one piece , a little scuff on the bumper & i dont believe it you kept your doors mirrors in one piece but hey i tried
p.s.. would have brought a smile to Big Nasty.s face if you had lost one ha ha .
Any way i am sorry there are no pictures as they are all blurry but we will try harder next time we promise.
Mnay thanks once again.
