Hi guys ... been out testing my new netbook and GPS thingy this eve.
it's found some new (to me) lanes ...

lane 1 ..SX 89228 74882 to 89744 74232 ... this lane was a bit soggy ...but quite firm under the wet mud ... (road tyres will struggle in the wet)

Lane 2 .. SX 89309 76309 to 88688 77517 this ones quite long and has a "ford" as well

Good road tyres will be ok for this one ...but may struggle a bit in the wet

sounds like you need to get an inverter mate,
a 300 watt one will power a laptop without any issues,
hard wire it to the battery via a fuse,

Cheers Lee

was thinking about a 300-400 watt would be good enough to power the netbook

what fuse rateing would you use ??

i have big laptop which runs through the inverter,
then it goes into a seperately wired from the battery cigarette socket,
a three way one,
fused with 10 amp fuse off the battery with 16 amp cable,
ive never blown a fuse yet,
that socket also runs the gps and the tom tom,
all at the same time,

always put a smaller fuse than what the cable will be able to handle ?
otherwise the cable will melt,
which could cause a fire,
