1st of all a big well done to the big guy for leading this tour to start with.told u it was easy, well done mate.
we met at the kings and headed out to modbury.took in a few of the local lanes and then headed towards ludbrooke.all trucks pissed it up there with ease.
then up to shillstone wich has again had water drain offs put in so all that was there was mud n slush.then over to curtisknwole and weeeldon farm before heading to halwell.
into tuckenhey where neil handed over to me.we then took in all the local stuff corckscrew hill etc before heading towards dartmouth where once again another awsome lane has met with council demise. sd103 one of my favs has had a closure notice on it and is currently being repaired.the number 42 bus will be running up it soon.
pity a cracking lane gone forever.
we then headed back toward kingsbrige taking in several more on the way.
a quick top up with fuel and then back to averton gifford to take in several more before finaly finishing at around 7pm.awsome day guys 43 lanes in total .i will post the pics when theve loaded...... :D :D

Well done Neil and thanks for having ago, was a great day in South Devon again, another thanks to Big Nasty for picking Jon & I up and taking us out.

and yea very bad news that SD 103 is about to be sanatised the challanges of this lane are to be removed in Devon County Council big push to reopen up the old country roads for all users, still one good thing here folks and one we need to be greatfull for is it will still be open to us.. to many councils are closing these old roads to vehicles, it is a shame in one way that the years of neglect have lead to some lanes becoming fun and challanging... as we know the lanes are always changing.

but as ever folks if you want challanges pay and play sites are the place to go, PORC have an upcoming punch hunt, these are all about challanging driving skills, if you dont know what it's all about go and spectate or offer to marshall for them I keep threatening to go and have a look at one.

It was thoroughly enjoyable, Neil led extremely well for his first lead. Rocky climb was a bit of an eye opener as it made my passengers hairs stand on edge. The team communicated precisely, accurately and their experience shone. My son who has never been on an off-roading event was blown away and is eager
for another outing. My son realised the importance of a seatbelt :D
Thank you Big Nasty, Neil and the team.
Yogi.
