well today myself and frodo,
accompanied by big nasty, sandra and tom,
took it upon ourselves to try and tackle these 2 awesome lanes upwards,
i went up it the other week with boggie in his awesome trayback landy,
i just knew i had to do it with such ease,
well today was the day i had some nice brand new bfg muds to run in,
so of we went,
paul was in front and had a few attempts at the first bit,
then he got up,
i slapped on the diff lock and i was surprised it flew up it on the first go,
so them we both moved on to the next gnarley bit,
again we both flew up it,
then the third gnarley part,
paul had a couple of attempts again then he had done it all the way up to the end,
well done mate,
this lane was drier today than the attempt i tried only the other week in the wet,
i also had brand new tyres today but got all the way up just like boggie,
i was well impressed,
then we decided to try the panther,
i was now in front and eased myself up to the first edge,
with diff lock on i tried my climb,
flipping hell i done it all the way to the end on the first go,
we went to help big nasty who had unfortunately put a hole in the sidewall of his tyre on the sharp slate,
not to worry got out the t-max pump and pumped it up to get us into a suitible place to change the tyre,
we changed the tyre then had a few more attempts,
then we were both up,
at last both cars at the top,
big thanks for the excellent day out,
i really enjoyed myself,
we had the local radio channel on again and yoda was comeing and going along with the chaplin from st pauls ?
thanks again a great day out,
videos to follow,

I think you were wise to pick a dry day!!

I know when Maf did it it had been wet for weeks and that bloody slate is as slippery as you like then.. I know from dropping it...

Good result!!

Lots for you to do Stu ;)

St Mellion... we went up it the other week... now that's a tough one, even Boggys tricked up double locker needed help, waffles, banter.... Cherokee needed a little pull, otherwise all good... Will try again in Wrangler.... ;)

Just ask if you want any tips... there are two ways to go down it, one is less damaging than the other.....

is the less damaging route the one that goes across the 9th green?

i am joking of course, and do not wish to be taken seriously regarding a ROW across the 9th green. :tut:

it is of course the 8th green.........

Haha....

Nice one... stoopid 9th green....

hey... one time we went through there and a group of golfers that prob pay thousands a year to be there said " You lot should sell all that and buy a train set" f**k we laughed...

We also met one of the manager blokes when we went up it... we all had a good chat and he said "I can't see why you do that.... oh ok I can, well done!"

As ever happy happy days Maf
