5 trucks met for breakfast at the kings in tamerton, then headed up the a38 to meet up with ben at newton abbot.
we took in a few of the local lanes before dezzy and his landy had to leave due to fuel problems.
we carried on to take in some cracking lanes some new for me although i had done most of these before.
all the trucks today suffered some form of damage as a cple of these lanes got the better of us.very tight and overgrown requiring the saw on many occasions.
myself and nick both loosing our door mirrors on the n/s and some heavy scrapes.
one point i thought the window was a goner.
mike and ben both with steering issues and ben also loosing a few wheel arch covers.
neil loosing his rear light however not due to lane damage it just fell out lol.
a good day with lots of pisstaking
thanks to mikeo for leading this one .very enjoyable day

Lots of new ones for me on this trip, others done in the opposite direction so I didn't recognise them at first, and a plenty of lanes that i knew, but now know where they are in relation to the map.

as ever this was a recce so damage was expected and as Big Nasty has said just about everyone took a bit of damage in one form or another, a couple of really overgrown lanes proved fun to get through, Big thanks to Wadey for climbing over the cars to give me a hand removing lots of branches, took us a while to clear a path but thats part of the fun.

one short lane we found blocked by a car and the owners couldn't be found, which ment a nice little reversing excerise, although some how Ben had manged to turn around, Nick and I both Tried to turn around and then both thought better of it as it would have took a while (500 point turn).

Dez & Stu left early with a suspected fueling problem with the landy 110, and later during the day i though i had a problem with the Vit as the revs went high and stayed there... thankfully it was only a blocked airfilter, leaves and snails galore.

sorry no pics from mer this time forgot the memory card for the camera

The first few lanes were so good that we didnt want to go home but with the fear of p#ssing of Ben and Big Nasty behind us we decided to call it a day!
Took us about an hour to get home with it constantly cutting out, a trip to Kevin coopers to get a fuel filter and a coil, on the way back from kevin coopers we found that the ignition barrel was vibrating around and causing the engine to cut out
Took the old fuel filter out and ended up with a pile of gunge on the floor where i emplied it out so it deffinatly wasnt helping

Thanks everyone, had a great day out! Nice to meet a few new faces and see some great lanes that were pretty much all new to me..

Steering is fixed, I'd bent the main bar a bit but we straightened it out and I got the tracking done.. Have ordered some sikaflex to stick my wheel arches back on with.. At least I didn't lose a wing mirror though..

@steve - Its actually suprisingly shiny underneath where the wheel arches were..

@stu - Thats ok mate I was sat behind you thinking 'oh well, theres always one person who has problems, thankfully its not me..' :P

@wadey - Nice pics mate as always..
