Wear cycling shorts - they tend to take the strain better - both front and back, excitement/fear!

Mike you could always take in a couple of laners to give you some ballast or of course try it in your Paj one afternoon!

Lamerhooe - easy if you create the perfect bow-wave keep the vehicle speed and revs right - notice how in the picture below the water is above the headlamps but below the sills of the truck. No danger of the water being taken in under the wheel arch either, although some vehicles air intake is right behind the bonnet slam panel!  Speed can also help prevent the flow of the river deflecting the course you drive - all situations are different, dont do it unless you are confident of you and your vehicles capabilities - any one wants to have a go I can arrange a session for you. Split the cost by bringing another vehicle or two to share the session!

I think it's fair to say this was DEEPER and FASTER than I would advise!!!

Probably easier with Jims AT's as the river base it slippery rock!! Muds don't have the extra snipes to grip on the rock so well...
