well myself and fozzy went out to try the latest toys,
many thanks to fozzy for makeing me a superb digital camera mount,
it worked better than all expectations
we went for a test drive with the new gps and camera,
well after 5 hours and over 80 miles covered,
we decided to head home,
we down loaded the video footage which was absolutely superb,
the new mount holds the camera perfect,
not 1 bit of shake at all,
top shelf job done there fozzy,
thanks very much mate,

then we downloaded all of the route onto the digital maps ect,
excellent stuff,
worked first time even i got the hang of it,
it tells you, time, date, speed, the map co ordinates, ect ect,
then you can store the routes onto the computer for next time,
or just store it on its own hard drive,
we covered 80 miles in total and that was only 20 % of memory for that 1 route,
it will hold a total of 20 routes each at 300 miles long,
well good bit of kit,
we scored each lane as we went round and then downloaded onto the digital map,
tomorrow ill score the paper maps with all of the info,

a top day out apart from a little damage doing some new unchartered lanes,
which are not on the maps (private lanes) which i did get permission from the land owners in advance,
which managed to bust up both of the mitsubishi in exactly the same places on each truck,

top day out cant wait till next time

WOW wot can i say......

After playing dad i got some free time and rang Lee and we decided to go laning!

Lee took his GPS wot an awesome bit of kit! i want one! ...its like 'BIG BROTHER'

plots everything you do when and where and how fast!...you cant fool that bugger!

We took in the local lanes from Fozzy's memory map (biking days) but we took in every Gnarly lane we knew.... Weir at Yealm (ok we looked at it) , Disco crusher , Rocky Climb (im still buzzing up in one ! ) , up the rocky steps at keys englebourne, forder lane! My arse been making buttons all day! oh and some secret stuff but its classified :ph43r:

The only down side was the damage :( I liked my truck straight but too late now and im P$**@d rite off and puouring beer down me head    but they wont go away.....

So when ive sobbered up got some cool video and a cpl of pix for your perusal....

Thanks Lee great day...Top Toys ...I WANT ONE!

wilkston,
i got in it up to the top of the bonnet,
with still another 10 feet to go and it was getting deeper,
that was deep enouth for my petrol,
you can see the bottom very well its proper clear,
but its deep well deep,

i think this is a job for boggie in his landy mate,
that thing just eats up the deep water,

i would be happy to video anyone who wants to drive through it,
anytime

Lee,

I think with that one it's just a case of turn up and do it!!

The only thing that worried me last time I looked at it was the unknown,
you could see the bottom at all..

Last time I did it on the bike ALONE, it was a rock that got me not depth!!

Wilky ;)
