Your suspension lift button is great and did make it look easy!!!

I want one, mind you there's not a huge amount of difference I guess???

Also your truck did so well especially as it's petrol!!!

Wilky ;)

Lol.

We had Mcd's brekky but my passenger has hurt his shoulder. Hence the neurofen.

I think Wilky and me were both really pleased with our Mitzi's wading ability. I know I was adrenalined RIGHT up at both water crossings. The joys of having a petrol

Nice one Joe,

Glad you had a great day... yeah petrol motors and water, mmm... have heard a great trick is a heavy duty rubber glove around the dizzy cap, sadley though, like you I need a seven fingered glove (well I need a pair) anyone from Royston Vasey on here?

You'll never leave.....

Mines fully electronic ignition.
No dizzy cap.
And I've only got 3 HT leads because the DIS packs are part of the plug caps on the left hand bank

So I can't lift them any higher.. Although the tops of the heads are pretty high anyway. which is where they are kinda.

Water was my biggest fear. And we did some deep stuff so I'm really chuffed with the truck.

I think the final score was Pajeros 3 Disco's nil wasn't Wilky?

And the good ole leccy suspension lift got a work out too.

It was a homer moment.

Truck goes up, truck goes down. Truck goes up, truck goes down. Truck goes up, truck goes down. Truck goes up, truck goes down. Truck goes up, truck goes down.

Ha Ha excuses excuses Jim!!!!

I'm just disappointed that your pic doesn't show the Disco being pulled out by my Pajero!!! LOL

Not being funny, English design the stuff, then the clever little Jap's improve it..

JK, I thought our final score was better than that HA HA...

ps.

Joe,

If you enjoyed that, you need to come out on a proper tour as that was sort of tour/reccie hence so many road miles...

Normally we can pop out of one lane and straight into another!!!

We drove past countless lanes on route to try and make up time, stay in touch with Jim...

Wilky ;)

Jim ''Stuck?''

Matt '' Had three attempts don't want to chew the lane up''

Jim ''Wilky - give Matt a tug outta there''

Remember responsible laning at all times. I have pointed Matt in Lee's direction to get some new M/T's

The English did what Wilky? Design you say... please check your history books you've clearly read too many LRO magazines.

The real events:

Jeep invented and made their Willys MB 1940's

1947 A Welshman stuck another body on a Jeep chassis and it became the first of many Jeep based prototypes. Even the engine size was within 20cc and right down to the tyre size they copied Jeep.

http://www.4wdonline.com/Jeep/MB/MB.html

Some time later Mitsubishi built Jeeps under licence and learnt their 4x4 knowledge from this.

They like many other Jap companies went on to make really tough and reliable off roaders.

They also (like Jeep) continued to improve their 4x4's from 1950's and 60's onwards. Sadly LR where cash and development starved, the 1983 Series III is almost the same as a 1958 Series II, the only reason the headlamps moved to the wings was to meet US law, even the early 90 has a 2 1/4 engine. (Note I am on LR's side here, I worked for them. I've had 6, it's a big shame).

When Land Cruiser launched in Oz LR's market share fell to 2%.

So, to recap, The Japs learnt from Jeep, made Jeeps then made their own 4x4's, please tippex out LR from your LRO history section and make amends.

IMO Jap is the best, why do I have two Jeeps? They are more fun that's why, Big simple Petrol engine that I can work on myself, no smelly diesel every time you fill up and with LPG, 50p a litre and 0% emissions, I have 8 litres of Jeeps and I can still hug tree's.
